General Tips for Blackberry Mobile/Cell Phone.

1. Many people find navigating the Blackberry calendar to be complicated. To simplify the process, in Calendar view -Press D for Day, W for Week, M for Month, and A for Agenda( For this to work, you'll need to set Enable Quick Entry field to 'No' under 'Calendar Options').
2. To get rid of old messages, click a date field and select 'delete prior'.
3. While using browser, press K to open your bookmarks. To add a new bookmark at any time, press 'A'.
4. To capitalize any letter while typing, press and hold the letter key. It is way faster than change to any mode.
5. To view and enter special characters not present on the keyboard, Use the Symbol (Sym) and Currency ($) keys.
6. To move down a page on any screen, press the spacebar, to move up, press shift + spacebar.
7. Selecting special characters is simple; press and hold the letter key in question. Then adjust the thumb wheel up and down to move through the available choices.
8. The Escape button is useful not only for exiting any screen; it can also be used to stop any Web page from loading.
9. Hold the Alt key and press the Escape button. Continue to hold the Alt key and select a program. Release the Alt key to switch to that program.
10. Alt + NMLL keys on the keyboard (may be Alt +NNMLL for some models) changes your signal bars into signal numbers. Ideally the number should be above 50.
11. Instead of pressing ALT+M to get a period, press the SPACE key two times in succession. This would insert a period as well as capitalize the next letter you type.
12. On the home screen, hold down the ALT key and enter LGLG. This would bring up the event log which can be used to track errors and obtain detailed information about processes.
13. The icon layout on your home screen can be completely customized by holding 'ALT' and then clicking the track wheel. This will bring up a menu with options to hide, move and unhide icons option.
14. To support more than one signature, wipe out your auto-signature in the redirector of the desktop software and just use 'AutoText' to configure alternate ones.
15. Hold down the 'ALT' key and the 'cap' key and then press letter 'H'. to get a screen that lists version, app version, pin, IMEI, uptime, signal strength, battery level, file free, and file total.
