General Tips for PALM OS.

1. To temporarily disable the full screen writing area, tap the shaded box in the lower-right corner. The shaded box changes to a box outline and writing area preferences are now deactivated.
2. The HotSync time can be reduced by specifying which applications you need to synchronize with your handheld. In the Palm Desktop, select the HotSync drop-down menu, and choose Custom, there select which application you want to use.
3. While writing a message, pressing and holding the center button will popup the emoticon choices.
4. In the Web browser clicking and holding on a picture of a web page will allow you to save the picture.
5. To dim the brightness of the screen, press and hold the Option button and then press the right shift button. To increase the brightness repeat the procedure.
